Hardin County Solar Site Visit

Join us on a trip to Hardin County to get a tour of a solar energy generation facility. Students can expect to see the general workings of a project from the panels to the invertors. The true experience is both the technology itself but also getting a look inside the fenceline to see how everything comes together to create sustainable energy options. Students will meet the operations and maintenance team, project management, as well as developers of the space. This is a great opportunity to see what the reality of solar energy production looks like in Ohio and see what goes into building and maintaining a project at this scale. Please note that there are only 30 spots total available for this trip. We will be providing transportation to and from the site. Bus leaves at 9:30 a.m.
