About this event

EiPIC by COSI: Join a focused, interactive introduction to intellectual property and its role in shaping research, creativity, and the public good. In this session, students will explore how IP—patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets—connects ideas to impact, influences decision-making across disciplines, and affects how knowledge and inventions move from concept to society. Through real-world examples and discussion, participants will gain a clearer understanding of how intellectual property intersects with their studies, careers, and contributions to the broader community.
