About this event

Register today and join us at the Battelle Center for a panel of specialists researching the future of energy. This research team is looking at various aspects of solar energy adoption, a topic especially important here in Ohio. They are talking about this in a variety of ways. Discussions will include topics such as:

  1. How rural counties interact with the Home Rule, allowing them to ban Large Scale Solar despite statewide goals.
  2. How Public Policy can encourage clean energy adoption and how that transforms communities.
  3. The transition from coal to solar.
  4. Renewable energy planning for the future.
  5. How water plays a role in new energy needs.

This is a great opportunity to meet with scholars from around the country as well as learn about how solar and wind energy adoption is about more than just politics.

Dinner will be provided for those who attend.

Joining from another institution? We will have a zoom link available for our out of state guests!
