Before coming to Ohio State, Jack served just under 4 years as an Army officer. Jack’s occupational specialty in the Army was Field Artillery and spent most of his time in the 1st Armored Division out of El Paso, Texas. While serving as a Field Artillery Officer, Jack’s primary duties were to ensure the safe and accurate firing of howitzer artillery and personnel management. Jack’s favorite part of serving in the Army was the deep bonds and friendships made, despite facing austere conditions.

Jack received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Denison University in 2018. Besides academic pursuits, Jack spent some time playing football for the Big Red and was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. Small discussion-based classes and thought-provoking professors were some of Jack’s favorite aspects of his time at Denison.

Jack joined the Battelle Center team in December of 2023. He hopes to leverage his diverse background experiences to help our team think outside the box to develop impactful and lasting solutions.
