Ali Stano has worked in the renewables space for nearly five years. Starting in government affairs, she analyzed renewable energy legislation and engaged with industry stakeholders across the east and mid-west to build support for renewables. Over the last four years, Ali has worked in project development and project management - she supported the development and construction of a 200MW wind farm in Illinois and led the development of two 50MWac solar parks in NW Ohio (COD Spring 2023). Ali manages a team of three and is responsible for ~700MW of solar and battery storage development projects in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.
Ali studied Comparative Cultures and Politics at Michigan State University (Go Green!), with a focus on international development, gender studies, and Spanish. She is passionate about social and environmental justice initiatives and feels deeply motivated being in an industry that works towards addressing climate change.
