Joseph Moussa

Joseph Moussa in a black suite with a silver tie

Manager, Modeling and Autonomy branch, DCS (formerly Infoscitex/IST) Dublin office. Manages a team of Software Engineers and Analysts doing classified and unclassified work supporting the US government. He has been with InfoSciTex (now DCS) since 2019 where he started as a Software Engineer, then became a supervisor, and now manager of the Dublin facility. Joseph has a background in electrical and computer engineering and has over 30 years of varied experience at different companies, primarily in embedded software and firmware development, and software/hardware integration.

Prior to DCS/IST, Joseph worked at CSS (now Movate), HCL Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent (AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent, Alcatel, Nokia), BFGoodrich Aerospace (now part UTC, part L3Harris, part Raytheon), Cornerstone Communications. Prior to this, Joseph worked ~8 years at BFGoodrich Aerospace, developing software for avionics/airborne equipment, including Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance Systems (TCAS) and lightning detection systems.

His longest tenure was for ~20 years at Alcatel-Lucent (and related companies), developing software/firmware for base stations, with focus on timing units (circuit packs) that utilize GPS modules to synchronize cell towers of wireless network providers

William Giffin

William works as a software engineer for DCS. Hailing from Dayton OH, he attended The Ohio State University where he was a part of the OSU Marching Band “TBDBITL” and graduated with a Computer Science and Engineering degree in 2019. With over a decade of experience working in VR, mobile apps, and game development, William works to broaden the horizons of VR applications in the modeling and simulations industry. Outside of work he is pursues on his own video game and enjoys playing music, video games, spending time with family, and 3D printing.
