For the past 5 years, the center has had a student Military Community Advocate (MCA) that runs events to help military connected students feel more connected to their community and find opportunities.

Rapid Innovation Solutions: Feed the Need

PUBAFRS 5620: Rapid Innovation for Public Impact is a course that challenges students to tackle wicked problems. Students are put into interdisciplinary teams and given a problem sponsored by a government agency or non-profit.A student team in our Rapid Innovation course tackles the complex problem of food insecurity.
